So, what is holistic bass-playing?

I started this blog because i'm feeling bored and ineffective. I'm reaching the point in my life when self-examination and critique are necessary.

I don't intend this blog to be purely about bass (God's gift to the world of music). But, since I consider Bass Player, to be a significant part of who I am, I want to explore all things that make me who (or what) I am.

I certainly will be posting musical compositions in this blog. Some will center around the bass line, some may not even have a bass line. Some post will contain no reference to music whatsoever. Identified as Holistic Bass Playing, this blog must take into consideration all the individual parts that make me a bass player; intellectual, religious, psychological, social, physical............everything.

I do hope, whoever you are, that you will in some way benefit from reading my nonsense and that you will benefit me, by making comments, suggestion, or whatever. And so begins my existential exploration into myself. God, I hope I find something.........
